International Paper, the world’s largest paper and forest products company, is currently seeking candidates for the position of Production Employee (General Labor) at its Delaware Container facility.
We are looking for motivated individuals who are capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality, and productivity.
Specific responsibilities include running machines, reading factory orders, accurately reading tape measures, gauges and other test equipment, utilizing basic shop math, inspecting, counting, and stacking product, accurately completing quality and administrative documents and following directions.
Minimum qualifictions for consideration are a high school diploma/GED (or equivalent experience). Candidates must be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
Candidates must successfully complete pre-employment testing, team-based interviewing process, drug screening and employment verification/background check.
