The Job You Will Perform:

This position will provide first level salaried supervision of electrical maintenance personnel in the Paper department.

  • Some of the Electrical First Line Leader duties include leading a crew in daily, as well as, outage activities.

  • This position will work in conjunction w/other front-line leader roles in the mill to coordinate mill-wide safety and productivity efforts

  • work with planning and scheduling efforts to maximize efficiency of the crew

  • track and control cost and overtime; strategically coordinate crew safety plans and maintenance resources

  • improve area reliability through predictive maintenance, preventative maintenance, and solutions to chronic problems.

  • Key leadership responsibilities of this position include employee engagement, skills development, crew safety plans (including PJSA’s, SA Cards, PACTS, HIC, and all other BBS program components), basis care of equipment, environmental compliance, product quality, manufacturing cost and productivity.

  • This role is a key part or the MWS workflow process and must use GWOS and SAP to properly schedule and complete work.

  • Additional tasks may include, but are not limited to, IEPM and CLPM improvements, BOM and SAP corrections, PM routes and PdM Routes, as well as electrical contracted work coordination.

The Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or comparable work experience

  • minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience with at least 1 year of supervisory or related experience

  • candidate must be proficient with SAP

  • Computer, maintenance and supervisory skills required to coach crew to improve engagement and increase productivity
