The Deliver PIM Analyst I will work with a team to understand and enhance business processes and customer interactions through information technologies. He/she will lead small-to-medium IT-related initiatives to reduce logistic costs, improve people and process efficiency, and provide data and metrics to measure key performance indicators. The position exists to maximize the impact of IT investments for Global Deliver Sector/Facility mill supply chain organizations.
Plans and executes enhancements and small-to-medium sized IT / Deliver PIM projects; may serve as a co-project manager on larger initiatives
Serves as project manager and/or in other capacities for initiatives requiring IT and business interaction related to business analysis, technical analysis, scheduling, implementation, and ongoing operations
Works with members of the Deliver PIM team and/or the Supply Chain COE and the CTE to identify opportunities for continuous improvement for both processes and technology
Understand business requirements, create specifications for required changes, and collaborate with the technical team(s) to ensure business requirements are clearly understood
Acts as a liaison with partners, ITSS and other IT groups to coordinate the delivery of information technology solutions to the business
Understands how to work with ITSS, other IT groups and the Deliver PIM function to accomplish goals
Translates partner requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization
Understands and works within the framework of the Project Delivery Process (PDP) and the IT Operating Model
Provide functional area support as required
Conducts training for information technology solutions to business users as required
Interacts with internal partners to better understand capabilities and to exchange valued information
Responsible for status reporting and other project administration. Includes informing and reviewing project and evaluation status/results with the Deliver PIM Sr. Manager and other team members as appropriate

Requires the ability to influence the business and corporate IT and balance any conflicts between the two
Ability to deliver projects and solutions through cross-functional project teams including Global Deliver, Global Supply Chain COE and ITSS and outsourced service providers. The environment in which Global Deliver systems operate requires integration and has enterprise wide implications.

Ability to balance the needs of businesses against the needs of the enterprise and achieve resolution acceptable to all parties
Ability to sustain working processes designed to maintain governance and standard functional processes
Technology supporting end-to-end functional process area as a part of IP’s North American Supply Chain as well as Global Supply Chain Operating Model implementations.
Contributes to identifying, developing and implementing process and technology improvements, resulting in incremental savings.
The applications delivered and supported by the Deliver PIM organization are directly responsible for the successful execution of critical Global Deliver processes such as Transportation Planning (est $700MM yearly spend) and Warehouse Management (est $1.5B in finished good inventory).
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
Four to six years of IT relevant work experience desired but not required (may include internship)
Experience in working with the PDP, whether working on an end to end project or working supporting specific PDP phases of work
Demonstrated success at delivering IT enabled solutions whether internally developed or purchased
Project Management or other leadership experience a plus
Experience with process development/sustain
Familiarity with multiple IP businesses or staff groups a plus
Experience in effectively communicating with BIM/PIM, IT teams and/or with business partners
Education: Bachelors’ degree or equivalent work experience required.
