Currently we have an opening for 1st and 2nd shift "General Labor" position with the potential to be a machine operator or assistant machine operator, in our Minneapolis facility at: 3558 N 2nd Street, Minneapolis, MN. Starting wage $15.40. This facility manufactures corrugated packaging products. The hiring process for successful candidate will include a interview, background check and a health/drug screen.
We are looking for motivated individuals, who are capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced production environment.
Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Safely, operating machinery
The ability to practice housekeeping
Reading Factory orders
Setting up orders, which may include carrying tooling (i.e. ink buckets, printing dies and cutting dies) to machine centers
Utilizing basic shop math such as: accurately reading tape measures, gauges and other testing equipment.
Consistent quality and count of inspection of product
Accurately completing quality and administrative document checks to ensure specific directions are followed.
Candidates must have availibility to work overtime & Saturdays as needed.
Minimum qualifications for consideration:
At least one year of experience working in a manufacturing environment. Applicants must have a stable work history, good attendance record, positive attitude and a desire to produce quality work as part of a team. Experience in the corrugated industry is a plus.
