Position Title:
Flexo Gluer Printer Operator
Pay Rate :
$27.19/hr.
Category/Shift :
Hourly Full-Time : 3rd Shift Sunday -Thursday
Candidates must be willing to work alternative shifts, weekends and overtime as required.
- 3rd shift - 11:00pm to 7:00am / 11:00pm to 11:00am / 7:00pm to 7:00am

The Job You Will Perform:
Follow all safety rules and practices
Learn customer requirements and specifications by reading factory work orders, print cards and design specifications
Direct the activities of other machine crew members to efficiently set up and run orders
Maintain quality and production standards as required by the company
Perform reporting functions
Set and adjust the pre-feeder and feed sections of the machine
Work with printing inks
Work with printing plates and pull straps
Set and adjust slotting, scoring and/or die cutting sections of the machine
Adjust impression and register (both through and across machine) settings on all stations
Set and adjust the folding section of the machine
Set and adjust the glue application system
Perform minor cutting die repairs
Continue to monitor the quality and quantity of production
Solve quality and production problems
Inform the supervisor of safety items and maintenance needs
Maintain teamwork within the machine crew and with all other associates
Follow prescribed practices in all circumstances
Perform other duties as assigned
The Skills You Will Bring:
Ability to accurately read a measuring tape and ruler
Ability to use basic shop math
Ability to lead a machine crew
Ability to perform any function of any machine crew member
Required process and product knowledge to identify defective products (and/or machine conditions) and take appropriate actions
Ability to read, write and speak English
