The successful candidate will be a skilled heavy equipment operator, including knuckleboom loaders, front end loaders and tractor, dump truck, aerial lift and other log handling equipment. The candidate must have basic computer operation skills for completion of needed reports, use of Outlook email system and able to quickly learn to operate IP’s scaleboss scale system. The candidate must be able to perform basic maintenance tasks on equipment and maintain various maintenance reports and records. Other duties include performing clean-up and housekeeping activities, working in adverse conditions including heat, cold and dust. The candidate must be able to work flexible schedules including overtime, weekends and holidays. Must be willing and able to travel to other work sites. Must have dependable, personal transportation. Must be willing and able to perform other duties as assigned. Physical requirements will be reviewed with candidate prior to hiring to ensure candidate can perform all needed tasks.

The successful candidate will assume a pro-active role in the Facility Safety Programs, and will assume a leadership attitude to ensure compliance with all policies. The candidate will wear and be certified in the use of all Personal Protective Equipment use and care, will report all injuries and incidents immediately, and ensure teammates and visitors to the facility are in full compliance.


Minimum High School graduate or equivalent, or at least (1) year experience operating knuckleboom loaders and other woodyard equipment.
