Position: Maintenance Tech I

24/7 Shift Schedule: 7pm-7am (Schedule Week 1 – 3 Days: M, W, Th, Week 2 – 4 Days: Tu, F, Sa, Su)

Pay: All Positions start at $15.32/hr for the 1st 90 Days (After 90 Days, Maint Tech I - $21.03/hr)

Type of Business: Box Manufacturing Facility

Job Summary:

Primary duties include providing safe and timely mechanical support, preventative maintenance, lubrication, repair, mechanical troubleshooting and resolution of basic operational operations of machines within a manufacturing industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have mechanical experience, a familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics and have basic troubleshooting experience with proven ability of machine repair.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent Technical School preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of Mechanical Repair Experience Preferred. • An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes; motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems. • A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. • A strong problem solving ability with practical, mechanical aptitude. • Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings. • Experience in use of metal fabrication tools a plus (plasma cutter, arc welder, mig welder etc) • Must be fully computer literate with Microsoft environment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently • Ability to work various shifts / overtime / days per week. • Corrugated background is a plus, but not required • Must be able to receive a “Recommended” result on GM-Skilled Pre-Employment Test.
